The Care Train Organiser Guide

Create, promote and manage your healthcare event with ease.

caretrain.au helps healthcare education providers, trainers, organisations and event organisers connect with healthcare professionals across Australia.

Whether you are hosting a workshop, webinar, conference, short course or professional development session, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know — from creating your first event listing to managing registrations and delivering a successful event experience.

1Before you list your event

Before creating your Care Train listing, have the key details ready:

  • Event title
  • Event description
  • Learning outcomes
  • Target audience
  • Date and time
  • Delivery format (in-person, online or hybrid)
  • Venue details or webinar link
  • Maximum attendee capacity
  • Ticket pricing
  • ABN details (for paid events requiring tax invoices)

Create an event that attracts the right audience

Your event listing should quickly answer one important question:

“Why should I attend?”

A strong listing should clearly communicate:

What attendees will learn
Highlight the skills, knowledge or outcomes participants will gain.
Who it’s designed for
Identify the healthcare professionals who will benefit most.
What’s included
Clearly explain the format, duration, speakers and delivery method.

The clearer your message, the easier it is for the right audience to discover and register for your event.

2Creating your event listing

Getting started is simple. Select List an Event and complete your event details.

To help healthcare professionals find your event, make sure you include:

  • Relevant healthcare category
  • Event format (in-person, online or hybrid)
  • Location or online delivery details
  • Event image or branding
  • Speaker information (where applicable)
  • Learning outcomes
  • Registration details

If you already have a dedicated event webpage, you can also add a More Information link.

A complete and informative listing builds trust and increases registrations.
