About this course
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is a nationally accredited course covering the skills and knowledge to manage first aid situations and provide first aid to a casualty. Delivered in person by St John Ambulance, a registered training organisation, it includes CPR and the use of a defibrillator (AED). The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends renewing first aid every three years and CPR every 12 months.

- Perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Follow the DRSABCD action plan in an emergency
- Manage common medical emergencies and injuries
